THE EXPERIENCE

Thoughtful from the beginning. Relaxed when it matters.

Every session begins with a plan built around you. We’ll shape the location, wardrobe, mood, lighting, and overall direction before the camera comes out, so you can arrive knowing the details are already handled.

BEFORE THE SESSION

The details take shape before shoot day.

We’ll talk through what you’re drawn to and build from there. Location, wardrobe, timing, lighting, and creative direction are chosen with the final photographs in mind.

You can come in with a complete vision or just a general idea. Either way, the planning gives the session a clear direction without making it feel rigid.

Prepared enough to feel effortless.

DURING THE SESSION

You’ll always know what to do.

I’ll guide you through posing, movement, expression, and the small adjustments that make a photograph work. The direction is clear, but the session still leaves room for personality and natural moments.

Some photographs are carefully composed. Others happen in between. I’m watching for both.

Direction without losing personality.

BEFORE YOU ARRIVE

A few things you may be wondering.

A little preparation goes a long way. These are a few of the questions that come up most often before a session.

What should I wear?

Choose something that feels like you and fits the direction of the session. Once the location and overall look are set, I can help with colors, combinations, and wardrobe choices.

What if I don’t know how to pose?

I’ll guide you throughout the session with posing, movement, and small adjustments so you always know what to do.

How early should I arrive?

Plan to arrive about 10–15 minutes early so you have time to settle in and start without feeling rushed.

What if the weather changes?

For outdoor sessions, I’ll watch the forecast as we get closer and adjust the plan when conditions would affect the quality of the photographs.

What should I bring?

Bring anything we discussed during planning, along with personal items that are meaningful to the session. Keeping things simple usually works best.

READY WHEN YOU ARE

Bring the idea. I’ll help shape the rest.

Tell me what you’re envisioning and we’ll build a session around it.
